Lipstick on a Pig

I said, the first morning I heard about the Palin pick, "That's putting lipstick on a pig." That was before her pitbull comment. Basically, there's only so much you can take the sow's ear that is McSame in the direction of a silk purse, and one whose parenting skills are so atrocious is not even the right SHADE of lipstick.
